This "Gator Freighter" (coined by Navy veteran and fellow blogger Elmers Brother ) the USS Bataan, left on January 5 for the Persian Gulf and on it has the daughter of the unflappable and buddy Vinbergstein.
His daughter Heather is a first class petty officer, a boatswains mate - believe she's an E-6. Formally known as BM1 Haas. She should be making chief anytime!
