After being without the use of a computer for a few days and relying on newspapers and a little bit of cable TV, it seems as though I've been in a time warp, definetly disconnected. No wonder newspapers all around the world are losing money as well as subscribers........what a lame way to get news and current event info.......cheers to the blogs and updated internet news sites.....jeers for the MSM.
I was born and raised in Arizona, the 5th of 6 children. The 'rents moved here from Minnesota about 1 year before I was born. I am married to a truly beautiful Mexican girl (see archived posts for June.."How I met the Queen of Tequila). I love golf, football, most anything pertaining to Mexico, current events/politics and I have the ability to talk backwards ALMOST as fast as I can talk forwards. Now you can take that 2 ways, let's just say I do speak at the same speed/rate as any normal Joe, I even did a stint on the #1 rated morning radio show (93.3 KDKB) here in Phoenix a few years back as "The Amazing Dr. Rewind". Que tenga un buen día!

I heare you, they're good for......uh.....uh....uhmmmm.....kindling? That's about it.
Yeah, when you find yourself under the most primitive living conditions and thre are no suitable leaves available the newspapers would have to do.
Personally next to the quran it makes excellent wiping material when I go camping, but it takes awhile for the newsprint to wear off. It's a good place for most of the headlines anyway.
