Look Out USA, We've Got A New One On Board!

Big night last night.....the Mrs. officially became a United States citizen! This was an inspiring event, it wasn't just a normal swearing in, this took place at an elementary school with 2nd graders putting on a fantastic production. All kids were dressed up in white tee shirts with the flag of the United States and they sang many patriotic songs and performed dances as well. It was a special swearing in ceremony, they only had 15 people sworn in, each representing different countries from around the world, with the wife representing México.

With all of the hoopla regarding immigration recently, there were 2 local news stations covering the event, the Mrs. got a nice appearance on TV last night.

Congratulations!

This photo was taken 11 years ago when the Mrs. was crowned the Queen of Tequila in Tequila, Jalisco, México.
